Meetings

“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.”

Acts 2:42

SUNDAY

10:45 AM Family Bible Hour

All are welcome to attend our Family Bible Hour (FBH).  During our FBH, there will usually be about 25 minutes of singing, brief announcements, and 45 minutes of teaching/preaching from the Bible. The sermon is often given by someone on the leadership team, but sometimes other brothers from our local assembly or visiting speakers will share.

If you are seeking solid and encouraging Bible teaching, then the best occasion for your first visit is during Family Bible Hour. Our time together begins at 10:15 am with coffee and refreshments.  We gather in the meeting room at 10:45 to begin singing. Our focus for all ages is on the Lord Jesus Christ, with the Bible as our guidebook for daily living.

10:45 AM Sunday School

Sunday School provides opportunities for your preschool – 7th grade children to learn about God in a safe, fun and caring environment. When we share the Word of God with children, it grows their faith in Christ, and connects them with the message of God’s love and provision for all mankind.

9 AM Believer’s Remembrance Meeting

The Breaking of Bread is our communion service. It is usually about 1 hour in length and is unstructured and non-liturgical. Brothers will rise to their feet to pray, suggest a hymn, or read and expound upon a passage of Scripture. The purpose is worship, not teaching or exhortation, and most comments address some aspect of the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Usually towards the end of the meeting, a brother will give thanks for the bread and give thanks for the wine. The emblems are passed around, with all believers encouraged to participate.

THURSDAY

6:30 PM Prayer & Bible Study

All ages are welcome to study the Bible together, exploring the meaningful questions of life, and going deeper in our relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Immediately following our study, our prayer time is open to all who would like to pray for the needs of the church, our community, and beyond.
